Overview
The Assembly Technician role at Eaton is part of Eaton’s IS AER FMC division. You will be part of a team that assembles high‑performance hydraulic pumps, motors, electrical generators and other components used to operate flight control systems on civil and military aircraft. Eaton is recognized as an industry leader in aerospace hydraulic systems, offering high quality and high reliability products currently flying on a range of fixed‑wing and rotary‑wing aircraft.
What You’ll Do
* Assemble new hydraulic pumps, motors and generators in accordance with SOPs.
* Interpret drawings and have the necessary skills to build aerospace products with the use of an SOP.
* Participate in 5S and lean manufacturing activities and, at times, participate in 8D investigations.
Qualifications
* An Aerospace qualification or other similar manufacturing assembly qualification would be advantageous.
* The applicant must be diligent and able to work to small tolerances and be able to gain a "stamp" to sign off their work to confirm it has been completed in accordance with all relevant specifications.
* The successful applicant will be in contact with US ITAR controlled technology, goods and information. As a condition of employment, employees with access to US ITAR controlled technology and goods may be required to undergo an additional screening process as part of the recruitment process.
