Elevation Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Trainee Credit Controller to join our client's team on an initial 6-month FTC, with a hybrid working basis in Goole, East Yorkshire.
The role:
You will support a team of Credit Controllers with administrative tasks such as setting up new accounts, cash allocation, chasing cash from customers, raising credit notes, managing the credit control inbox, and uploading invoices to portals.
Responsibilities include:
1. Chasing overdue / aged debt via telephone and email.
2. Building strong relationships with customers to ensure prompt payment and efficient query resolution.
3. Proactively managing customer and colleague relationships, including resolving queries.
4. Admin/finance experience is beneficial but not essential.
5. Desire to work within a fast-paced finance team.
This is a full-time position, initially on a 6-month FTC, working on a hybrid basis (2 days WFH / 3 days in the office).
Salary up to £24k per annum DOE.
