Technology Portfolio Programme Manager
We are seeking a Technology Portfolio Programme Manager to join the Infrastructure Team at Tesco. This team manages a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives aligned with Tesco's vision and strategic goals. The role emphasizes governance to ensure the portfolio effectively supports our business objectives, standardizes portfolio control, and secures stakeholder buy-in.
1. Programme Governance: Set up and facilitate governance meetings to approve and oversee the Portfolio Plan. Ensure consistent recording and monitoring of risks, issues, and dependencies.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Infrastructure Teams and Senior Stakeholders to prepare for governance meetings, influence discussions, and present updates.
3. Reporting & Frameworks: Prepare status reports, summaries, and presentations. Operate within best-practice portfolio management frameworks, adjusting approaches as needed.
4. Risk & Dependency Management: Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and escalate issues when necessary.
5. Portfolio Constraints & Improvements: Work with the STPM to evaluate and resolve constraints, and engage with leadership to improve portfolio practices.
6. Standards & Communication: Maintain consistent programme standards, guidance, and templates. Communicate updates on Tech Excellence and strategic objectives.
7. Agility & Knowledge Sharing: Demonstrate agility in adapting to business needs and share knowledge passionately.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in Portfolio, Programme, or Project Management (planning and delivery)
