Responsibilities
* Provide first line management for a team and deliver work routines in the area of responsibility.
* Line‑manage staff, apply HR policies and conduct performance management, disciplinary investigations, and staff appraisals.
* Contribute toward the development of local policy, procedures and practice and ensure consistency of application.
* Manage devolved budgets in accordance with financial procedures.
* Ensure achievement of Service Delivery Indicators (SDIs) and standards.
* Attend relevant unit meetings to provide feedback on good practices.
* Analyse and act on data collected by the Hub; produce reports.
* Ensure accurate data entry into local and national systems.
* Monitor Hub performance.
* Draft all external and internal communications on behalf of the Hub.
* Provide Head of Function with management information relating to the area.
* Act as first point of contact for external stakeholders.
* Act as requisitioner or approver depending on local policy.
