Applicants are invited to apply for this unique and exciting opportunity to become Headteacher of Creigiau Primary School, a dual language school located in the village of Creigiau, approximately 8 miles west of Cardiff.
In partnership with parents and the community, Creigiau Primary School aims to provide an inspiring learning environment that values and develops everyone.
Pupils may receive their education through either the medium of Welsh or English, according to parental preference; both languages are afforded equal status. All staff and pupils belong to one unified school community; although each language section is taught by teachers appointed for that specific purpose, the school operates as a single, cohesive entity.
We are very proud that Creigiau Primary School had a highly positive ESTYN inspection in November 2024. ESTYN recognised that “The school is an extremely caring, inclusive and familial community that is a core part of its local community.” ESTYN also noted “The school’s motto is ‘Together we stand’, which reflects the familial and supportive element across the two language streams, where everyone respects and supports each other continuously”
