On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a SAP Transformation Discovery Lead for a 9 month contract based in Derby (3 days per week) with hybrid remote working.
Purpose of the role:
We are looking for an Senior SAP Transformation Leader to spearhead a critical programme within our Digital & IT (D&IT) organisation. This senior leadership role carries broad influence, clear accountability, and high visibility across the business. You will define, lead, and deliver our SAP Transformation journey, ensuring our enterprise systems evolve in step with business priorities and long term strategic objectives.
What you'll do:
Define and agree delivery plans that enable business objectives, and lead your teams to execute them effectively.
Monitor performance against targets and drive a culture of delivery excellence.
Play an active role within the D&IT Senior Leadership Team, contribute to shared goals and championing strong cross functional collaboration.
Lead, guide, and oversee your team's activities, with a focus on talent development, process optimisation, and continuous improvement.
Provide portfolio oversight and establishing the governance structures required for effective reporting and delivery assurance.
Manage and optimise 3rd party ecosystem to ensure best value investment and consistently high quality delivery outcomes.
Contribute significantly to the development and execution of the wider D&IT strategy.
The skills you'll need:
Must have SAP S/4HANA transformation experience.
A strong technical background in SAP, with hands on experience leading SAP Transformation programmes.
A deep, end-to-end understanding of SAP domains, business process flows, and how SAP components integrate and operate together.
Experience across multiple full project/programme lifecycles, ideally 10+ years in SAP Transformation leadership roles.
A track record of delivering complex programmes in dynamic, fast moving environments.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to think strategically across the enterprise.
Proven ability to drive delivery in project/programme based environments.
Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with peers, stakeholders, and 3rd party partners.
A performance focused approach, always striving for continuous improvement.
