Job Summary:
The Analyst, Payments and Innovation supports policy advisory efforts related to payments and digital innovation within the business. This role involves collaborating with the Payments product stream to identify and address key policy issues, including legislative developments and regulatory activities affecting domestic and international payments. The Analyst engages with members to represent their views and supports policy and advocacy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Secretariat Support: Provide administrative support to working groups and committees, including writing papers, taking minutes, and liaising with senior members.
* Policy Development: Assist in developing a deep understanding of the digital money and payments ecosystem to support member advocacy efforts.
* Regulatory Coordination: Manage regulatory coordination by tracking meetings, briefing requirements, and collecting inputs from team members.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business colleagues on cross-cutting projects related to payments, innovation, and digital.
* Market Insights: Offer members relevant market and regulatory insights through horizon scanning and monitoring to aid their business planning.
* Documentation: Prepare consultation responses, Committee and Board papers, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and Competencies:
* Basic understanding of the payments market and digital innovation topics, including stablecoins and cryptoassets.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for managing complex stakeholder relationships.
