Interim Post 14 Assessment Coordinator
Achieving for Children has a fantastic opportunity available in the Maidenhead Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Team, for a Post 14 Assessment Coordinator on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. We are looking for someone who can build effective and enabling relationships with families of children and young people with SEND and professionals in the Post 14 EHCP Team, who manage the EHCPs for children and young people from Year 10.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract position.

As a Post 14 Assessment Coordinator you will be expected to undertake core statutory elements of the role including completing needs assessments in relation to statutory requests for an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHC) for those ages 14-25 years within statutory timescales, write EHC Plans that are legally compliant with the statutory requirements of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice and undertake relevant casework, including supporting work for Tribunal Cases and presenting cases to relevant decision-making panels for consideration, attending annual reviews of EHC plans and updating plans as required.
