Stock Administrator – Hams Hall (Coleshill, UK)

Working Hours: Rotating Shifts (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00)
Salary: £12.87 per hour

About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Stock Administrator to join our growing team at Hams Hall. This is a fast-paced and varied role that plays a key part in supporting efficient warehouse operations. You’ll be responsible for managing stock accuracy, processing orders, and maintaining high standards of data integrity across all systems.

Key Responsibilities
1. Accurately receipt and record all inbound stock and deliveries
2. Process, prioritise, and dispatch customer orders efficiently
3. Monitor and manage internal stock transfers and movements
4. Maintain accurate records for returned and damaged goods
5. Investigate and reconcile stock discrepancies and picking errors
6. Conduct daily stock and system checks to ensure data accuracy
7. Prepare stock consolidations to optimise warehouse space
8. Ensure clear communication during shift handovers
9. Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and transport teams
10. Obtain and file proofs of delivery (PODs) and manage stock returns
11. Resolve outstanding issues and queries in a timely manner
Skills & Experience Required
12. Previous experience as a Stock Administrator, Warehouse Administrator, or similar role (preferred)
13. Knowledge of warehouse management systems such as Swisslog, SAP LES, ESP/GTS, or Red Prairie (advantageous)
14. Strong IT literacy, with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
15. Excellent communication and organisational skills
16. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new systems quickly
17. Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
18. Basic financial awareness and attention to numerical detail
19. Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns
