About the Role:
As a DBS Caseworker, you will play a vital role in protecting children and vulnerable adults by assessing and evaluating information related to Enhanced DBS applicants. Your responsibilities will include:
Information Management: Interrogate computerised systems to obtain relevant information on applicants and their associates.
Risk Assessment: Identify and investigate potential risks, ensuring the safety of vulnerable individuals.
Collaboration: Work closely with police officers, external agencies, and the DBS Vetting Manager to make informed decisions.
Reporting: summarise findings in legally defendable reports to facilitate effective decision-making.Who We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Education: Minimum GCSE grade C/4 in English Language or equivalent.
Experience: Proven track record in research, analysis, and information evaluation within a confidential environment.
Communication Skills: Ability to engage and provide advice to a diverse range of individuals and organisations.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to managing sensitive information and meeting performance targets.
