An exciting opportunity to develop your career in the Early Years sector while maintaining a great work/life balance. Cramond Playgroup is seeking a fully qualified practitioner to join our friendly team starting from 21 October 2025.
We are a long-established and successful community playgroup, led by our Playgroup Leader with the support of a dedicated staff team and a parent-led committee. Based in the Cramond Kirk Halls (EH4 6NS), we enjoy access to a variety of indoor rooms and outdoor spaces, providing children with a rich and stimulating environment.
As a registered charity, we pride ourselves on offering a fun, caring and safe setting for children aged 2-5. We operate five mornings a week during term time only, in line with the local primary school holidays.
This is a permanent post, initially for three mornings a week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:30am-12:30pm), with the possibility of additional cover shifts.
We are seeking a fully qualified early years practitioner to join our warm, supportive team. You will be:
Friendly, enthusiastic, and committed to working with children and families
Experienced in working with young children
Qualified in childcare to meet SSSC registration requirements
Passionate about providing high-quality early years experiences
Pay and benefits: £12.60 per hour, term-time only (38 weeks per year) plus paid annual leave, salary paid in 12 monthly instalments.
