Salary G3 £ £13.47 per hour
We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable individual to assist in the production and delivery of school meals. The successful candidate will undertake general kitchen duties including the cleaning of associated equipment. In return, we offer an excellent pay rate, uniform and access to training.
Food Preparation Assistants are valued members of our teams and are needed in our schools and Council buildings.

Nb The following site is classed as a dining centre therefore minimal food preparation is undertaken on site.

Times: 11.00am – 1.30pm
Please note that work hours are indicative of the requirements of the post. Start and end times may vary (within the hours stated) dependant on the needs of the service.
Successful applicants will hold or train for the Essential Food Hygiene Certificate.

In line with FSA guidance and due to the identifiable health and safety risks involved, there is a requirement to undertake a pre-employment health questionnaire prior to commencing kitchen duties.
This post is covered by the Government's Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
