Our Early Intervention and Prevention Team is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Family Support Worker.
The purpose of this role is to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the family hubs to support the delivery of the Early Intervention and Prevention offer for families, adopting a whole family, strengths-based approach to reduce risk and increase resilience and improve outcomes for children.
The position demands delivery of high quality, evidence-based early interventions in partnership with colleagues from voluntary and statutory services, to improve outcomes for children and families and reduce the need for more targeted or specialist interventions.
The post enables delivery of interventions against the Start for Life agenda. The Family Hubs and Start for Life Programme is jointly overseen by the Department of Health and Social Care and the Department for Education.
