Job Description
We're looking for a motivated Paraplanner to join our clients busy practice team supporting independent financial advisers. This is a genuine paraplanning role for someone who values the craft of technical financial planning and wants to build a career in the profession.
You'll be working closely with our clients Practice Team Leader and supporting advisers across client reviews, new business cases, and ongoing service work. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professionally curious, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a small, supportive team.
Report Writing & Technical Work:
* Produce high-quality suitability reports covering new business, pension transfers, and investment advice
* Work collaboratively with advisers to sense-check recommendations and ensure suitability
* Conduct financial analysis using cashflow modelling software (Dynamic Planner)
* Complete attitude to risk assessments and produce client reports using Dynamic Planner
* Research and analyse investment funds and products using FE Analytics
* Challenge and refine adviser recommendations to reach the correct client outcome
* Ensure all work meets FCA suitability requirements and Consumer Duty obligations
* Maintain comprehensive file documentation to compliance standards
