Enterprise Bid & Content Manager – Europe

Job Description
Role Purpose: The Central Bid Services team supports the Elavon sales community in pursuing and winning new business and safeguarding our current portfolio when customers tender. This role will work with product teams, subject matter experts and Go to Market Managers to create new content and keep existing content up to date and compliant. You will also work with sales teams to source, qualify and manage the bid process in Europe for key revenue sectors such as Hospitality, Retail and Emerging including mobility and government.
Responsibilities and Deliverables:
* Create compelling, industry-specific collateral aligned to marketing and brand guidelines.
* Develop high-quality, engaging content across various formats and tell narrative-driven stories.
* Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency and accuracy.
* Stay up to date with industry trends and apply fresh approaches to content creation.
* Identify opportunities for Sales by utilizing internal data and external resources.
* Maintain a central repository of information to respond to tenders across markets.
* Plan bid timetables post-qualification and manage milestones per the Bid Management Process.
* Lead Bid Kick-off sessions to establish roles within the virtual Win team using the Bid Services RACI model.
* Lead Win Workshop sessions to contribute to strategy and win-theme discussions.
* Issue actions after calls and ensure due dates are understood.
* Collate and submit clarification questions to customers and draft responses using standard bid content as a foundation.
* Collaborate with the Sales Lead on Executive Summaries and support Sales Leads with slide decks and presentation material.
* Maintain high-quality material in the internal Q&A Bank and Content Library.
* Collect reasons for win/loss, including customer interviews, to inform Win/Loss analyses.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance Bid Service and win rates.
Skills / Experience required:
* Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives.
* Ability to adapt writing style to various formats, tones and audiences.
* Understanding of strategic business plans and bid management processes.
* Experience in proposition commercialization and delivering to market.
* Experience managing senior stakeholders within a matrix organization.
* Highly collaborative, with excellent communication and creative messaging skills to gain buy-in.
* Attention to detail with ability to spot trends and recommend actions to senior stakeholders.
* Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic sales environment and meet deadlines.
* Strong time-management skills and familiarity with bid management processes.

* Competence in using Salesforce.com.

* Ability to plan and adapt plans to achieve desired outcomes and meet aggressive deadlines; occasional travel within Europe.
* Experience or knowledge of the payments industry is advantageous.
