Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hotel Receptionist located in Blackpool. The Hotel Receptionist will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, performing check-ins and check-outs, and handling guests' inquiries. Day-to-day tasks include answering phone calls, maintaining a professional front desk presence, and coordinating communication between different departments to ensure smooth operations. Providing an exemplary level of customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction is a key element of this role. This role also includes a mix of housekeeping services.
Qualifications
* Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on professionalism, customer service, and guest relations.
* Experience in receptionist duties, including check-in/check-out processes and handling guest queries.
* Proficiency in managing reservations and booking systems.
* Cleaning of rooms, common areas and laundry
* Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle calls efficiently and courteously.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to maintain a positive and calm demeanor under pressure.
* Familiarity with hospitality management systems or hotel software is a plus.
* Previous experience in the hospitality industry or a similar role is preferred.
* High school diploma or equivalent; professional training or certificates in hospitality or reception services are advantageous.
