THE POSITION:
Are you an experienced Administrator looking for your next role in the Bristol area?
Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a School Office Administrator to provide full-time, administrative support to a school in the area on a temporary basis. The position is due to start from 1st Sept 2022 and will continue until the end of the academic year.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide administrative support and assistance to members of the wider team
2. Cover reception duties
3. Be the main point of contact for parents/guardians and visitors
4. Answer telephone calls and respond to emails in a professional and welcoming manner, in line with the school’s policies
5. Ensure all calls, emails and messages, are forwarded to the relevant person/department
6. Provide a professional level of customer service at all times
7. General clerical, administrative and financial support to the school
8. Must have SIMS knowledge
The successful candidate will have a strong background working in Office Administrator/Receptionist roles and will ideally have experience working in school settings. For this role, it is essential that you have an up to date Enhanced Child DBS.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
16. Experience working in Administrative/Receptionist roles ideally within a school setting
17. Confident, outgoing and charismatic individual with strong attention to detail
18. Professional telephone manner and strong written and verbal communication skills
19. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year – Prospero Teaching can provide this
20. Enhanced Child DBS certificate – Prospero Teaching can provide this
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
21. Hold Right to Work in the UK
22. Hold an Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
23. Provide two professional references
