Position Overview As a Duty Manager at Mega City, you will play a key leadership role in the daily operation of the centre. You will be responsible for overseeing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, managing safety and compliance standards, and responding to operational needs in real-time. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Act as the senior manager on shift, ensuring smooth operation across all attractions and departments. Oversee opening, operating, and closing procedures, ensuring standards are met. Manage staff deployment to meet service demands. Team Management Supervise, coach, and support team members during shifts. Provide direction and motivation to maintain high levels of customer service and productivity. Assist with training and onboarding of new staff. Guest Experience Ensure all guests receive a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience. Handle guest queries, complaints, and incidents promptly and professionally. Maintain a visible presence on the floor to engage with customers and staff. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure all attractions and facilities comply with company policies, safety procedures, and legal requirements. Monitor risk management practices including first aid, fire safety, and emergency response. Conduct regular inspections and report maintenance or safety issues. Financial & Administrative Duties Assist with cash handling, daily banking, and reconciliation processes. Monitor sales performance and support promotional activities. Prepare shift reports and communicate effectively with senior management. Skills & Qualifications Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality, leisure, retail, or entertainment. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities. Good organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of health & safety compliance (first aid certification desirable).
