Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Teach across KS3 and KS4, with the ability to specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at GCSE level desirable.
Assess, record, and report on student progress, attainment, and personal development.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic achievement and pupil wellbeing.
Maintain high expectations for pupil behaviour and engagement.
Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental meetings, and extra-curricular science activities.
Participate in the wider life of the school, including pastoral duties and professional development.
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A degree in a Science-related discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science).
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage students in hands-on, practical science.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
A reflective practitioner committed to professional growth and collaboration.
