Senior Hardware Engineer – Cambridge/Hybrid - £60,000 pa - £85,000 pa
An Electronics manufacturer specialising in Power Electronics are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join their R&D team designing next generation Power Electronics solutions for a variety of industries including the rail & automotive sector.
Responsibilities:
* Develop new hardware solutions and improve existing designs
* Work through the full design life cycle from concept to release
* Work in a small, multi-disciplinary team with other Electronics Hardware & Software Engineers
* Manage time efficiently to ensure on time delivery of projects
Key Skills/Experience:
* Degree in Electronic Engineering or another relevant discipline
* PCB design & Layout (Altium preferred)
* Analogue & Digital Circuit Design
* Functional test & verification
* FPGA design & simulation
* VHDL/Verilog
Any mix of the following is nice to have:
* Power Electronics (DC-DC converters etc.)
* Embedded Software (Embedded C/C++)
* Microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, M-Series etc.)
* Networking protocols/Communication interfaces (Ethernet, MODBUS, TCP/IP etc.)
