Location – Plumstead, London
Salary: £21.51
Hours: 37 per week (lunch breaks are unpaid and must not be claimed)
Contract: Temporary until 31/03/2026

About the role
You will source and manage high-quality work placements for Early Years learners, ensuring opportunities match their aspirations and programme requirements. This role suits someone proactive, confident, engaging with employers, and passionate about student development.
Key responsibilities
* Liaise with curriculum teams to understand their placement requirements
* Use sector contacts to secure new and existing placement opportunities
* Generate employer leads through networking, calls, events, and outreach activities
* Support Early Years students in sourcing and securing suitable placements
* Carry out mandatory observations and assessments as required
* Assist in establishing employer advisory groups to guide sector skills needs
* Complete Health & Safety checks in line with policy
* Meet students individually and in groups to identify aspirations and match placements
* Support students and tutors with the placement and skills portal
* Monitor student attendance, behaviour, and performance on placement
* Track placement outcomes and provide regular reports
* Represent the client at internal and external events
* Contribute to quality reviews, planning, and departmental activity
* Maintain accurate data and comply with safeguarding and health & safety procedures
Requirements
* Level 3 qualification (Childcare sector)
* Assessor award
* Level 2 English and Maths
* Understanding of T Levels and work placements
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
* Ability to manage workload and meet targets
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel
* A current and valid ENHANCED DBS
