PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £25,700 – £32,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Job Purpose
We’re looking for a social media coordinator to join the BBC Children’s & Education team, to work across our CBBC, Newsround and BBC Bitesize accounts. You’ll create social-first video and image content with strategic vision, support a team of Social Media Executives managing campaigns and assist in scheduling and publishing content across our platforms.

Your Key Responsibilities and Impact
* Create social first content that engages a young audience
* Support Social Media Executives with campaign planning and idea generation
* Schedule and publish content across social platforms
* Keep abreast of current trends and developments on social platforms
Your Skills And Experience – Key Criteria
Essential criteria –
* Experience using social platforms in a professional capacity
* An understanding of what makes the most engaging social content
* Proficient editing skills using Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Premiere Pro)
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* The ability to prioritise workload and work across multiple projects at once
Desirable Criteria -
* An understanding of social analytics and how to interpret data
* Experience assisting on shoots and filming would be beneficial
* Adobe After Effects experience would be beneficial
