Specialist Clinical Pharmacist Rotational - Paediatrics
An exciting opportunity for a pharmacist with an interest in paediatric medicine to join our dynamic and diverse paediatric pharmacy team based at Leeds Children's Hospital at Leeds General Infirmary. You will deliver an excellent clinical pharmacy service to Leeds Children's Hospital, involving optimizing patient care with medicines and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role is suitable for resolute and enthusiastic pharmacists with clinical pharmacy experience (paediatric experience not essential). Support for gaining non-medical prescribing qualification is available.
Main duties include:
* Providing specialist optimization services to paediatric inpatients, reviewing medications, and supporting medication management.
* Collaborating with advanced practitioners and experts across specialties such as neonates, renal, oncology, haematology, cardiology, PICU, and general/specialist medicine.
* Ensuring safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of medicines within paediatrics.
* Rotating through subspecialties within Paediatrics to enhance knowledge and MDT integration.
