Liquid Personnel have an exclusive opportunity for an Educational Psychologist to join a remote role.
What will your responsibilities be?
You will take personal responsibility for continuing professional development and maintaining performance levels. You will manage your time effectively and respond flexibly to service needs. You will undertake assessments of children and young people referred for educational psychology services, providing advice, guidance, and support to schools and other professionals. Developing and implementing EHCPs and programmes, providing training and consultation to schools and other stakeholders, and writing clear and concise reports will be part of your role. Additionally, you will provide support and cover for the Team Manager and/or Principal Manager. Actively participating in the performance management system, including supervision, PAR, team meetings, and service reviews, will be part of your role. You will follow departmental health and safety procedures and develop skills through work experience in various divisional situations, such as secondments, job rotation, and shadowing. Contributing to information management processes and supporting social work students on placement under the direction of the Principal or Practice Manager, acting as a workplace supervisor or Practice Teacher if appropriately trained, will also be expected. You need to understand and integrate into practice the key policies of the council in relation to social care with children and families, especially multi-disciplinary working, integration, and whole family approaches.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you must hold a qualification in Educational Psychology and be registered with the HCPC. You should also have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience as an Educational Psychologist.
