About The Role. This is a full-time role working either day or night shifts from 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am; full flexibility is required.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You will help our residents with personalised care plans, get to know residents and their families, and lead a team of Care Assistants to maintain the highest standards of care. You may assist with activities, support residents and families, and, when needed, work with a Registered Nurse and Care Manager to provide essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities, as well as administer medication.
One of your key responsibilities is to maintain accurate records of the work you do and build strong relationships with your team.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care and be prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Care or equivalent, with experience in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia. What’s essential is a brilliant positive energy and the ability to get along with people. You should know what good record keeping looks like, manage your time effectively, and communicate with residents and co-workers with kindness and consideration.
