Owing to continued expansion, our client, a Camberley based supplier of specialist lighting products and solutions require a bright, conscientious and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join their existing team.

Duties would include but are not limited to:
* Matching, checking and coding invoices received
* Presenting invoices for approval on a weekly payment run
* Checking prices and matching supplier invoices against purchase orders
* Entering invoices/credit notes onto Xero
* Maintain accurate and up to date financial records
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Resolving any queries with suppliers
* Prepare and confirm remittances for payments made to suppliers
* Filing invoices
* Managing Petty cash
* Processing staff expenses for payment
* Processing credit card expenses and reconciling against monthly statement
* Preparation of weekly payment run
* Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing accounts
* Data entry as required
* Create purchase orders and allocate costings
* Recording all relevant import documentation
* General office administration duties
* Other ad hoc tasks as required
* Covering leave for accounts department
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, both verbal and written, have sound accounts experience (one year minimum) and the capacity to work well within a team in a busy sales office environment, ideally with a product manufacturer. Excellent attention to detail is crucial as well as the ability to use initiative. Experience of using Xero would be an advantage.
