Senior Associate - Clinical Negligence

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our client's Clinical Negligence department. This role is pivotal in contributing to the smooth running of the firm by working towards the goals of the business plan and effectively managing staff within your area of responsibility.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Continue achieving high levels of performance in carrying out the general responsibilities of a Senior Associate Solicitor.
* Effectively manage other fee-earners and support staff in the department, including workload allocation.
* Develop business initiatives to improve department workloads.
* Motivate and develop fee-earners and support staff within the department and the firm generally.
* Attend external business activities and events regularly, with a target of one per month.
* Participate actively in management meetings and subcommittees if invited.
* Support and assist the practice/accounts/personnel/marketing manager in the effective running of the department and firm.
* Strengthen existing client relations and introduce new clients to the firm.
* Lead by example and maintain professional conduct at all times.
* Ensure a safe working environment in your area of responsibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Admission to the Solicitors Roll or Institute for Paralegals with a desired 5 years PQE in the relevant work area.
* Demonstrated ability to think strategically, prioritise, and make decisions.
* Strong communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with a diverse range of individuals both inside and outside the organisation.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
* Understanding of health and safety issues within the workplace.
* Experience in leading a team, ensuring all team members understand the aims of the department and their contributions.
* Ability to manage stress and handle conflict within the team.
