Interviews
To be shortlisted for an interview you must bring evidence of the following qualifications:
* GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or Level 2 Functional Skills for Maths and English.
* A Full Care Certificate OR NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (only NVQ’s from a regulated awarding body).
If you hold overseas GCSE equivalent qualifications you will need to bring an ECCTIS comparability statement along with your original certificate. If you do not bring the above qualifications to your interview, the interview will not proceed.
Responsibilities
Provide a high standard of direct care for patients pre and post joint replacement and other orthopaedic procedures, working with the team to promote early post‑operative mobilisation as appropriate and support in length of stay and facilitate safe discharge from hospital. Document accurately in line with UHNM Trust policy. Be involved in the induction and mentoring of new staff where applicable and act as a role model to junior members of the team.
