Power Systems - AC Electrical Design Engineer
An electrical engineering role focused on the design, development, and implementation of high-power electrical systems for our MAX energy storage solutions. You will be responsible for AC control panel design and sign-off, working with standard 3-phase 400V AC and HV DC systems at MW power levels exceeding 1MW.
Lead the electrical design of power distribution systems, control panels, and electrical integration for our battery energy storage products. This includes developing electrical schematics, single line diagrams, and field wiring diagrams whilst ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards including UL508A and IEC61439-1/2.
Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver robust, scalable electrical systems that integrate seamlessly with our battery management systems, power electronics, and grid connection requirements. You will take ownership of electrical designs from concept through to commissioning, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge energy storage technology within a rapidly growing and dynamic company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with high-power electrical systems and a strong understanding of industrial control panels and power distribution at the MW scale.
