Responsibilities
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
* Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative cooking techniques.
* Oversee food production processes to maintain consistency and quality across all dishes.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
* Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste.
* Participate in cooking and preparing meals during service periods as needed.
* Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and creativity.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
* Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in culinary operations.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food production.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
