Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Revenue Assurance Manager to join our growing team. This role is vital to ensuring accuracy across our billing processes, maximising revenue, and leading a small yet high-performing team. You will serve as the key contact for the Revenue Assurance function, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the business to drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls.
Management & Leadership
* Lead and develop a diverse team of 5 (4 remote and 1 office-based in Canterbury).
* Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to support staff development.
* Serve as the main point of contact for the Revenue Assurance team.
* Occasionally travel for face-to-face meetings with team members.
Revenue Assurance
* Maximise revenue opportunities through detailed analysis of billing systems.
* Manage supplier invoice reconciliations against the Symbill Billing System.
* Enhance data integrity to improve profit reporting and business decision-making.
* Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and issues.
Sage Approvals
* Oversee purchase invoice approvals via Concur.
* Investigate and resolve all Cost of Sale invoices without purchase orders.
Process Enhancement & Reporting
* Streamline and improve revenue analysis processes.
* Work with the Billing team to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
* Enhance Management Information (MI) reporting by ensuring accurate data capture (supplier names, wholesale costs, etc.).
Customer Billing Experience
* Reduce errors and credit notes by proactively identifying issues before invoicing.
* Improve billing timeliness through accurate supplier reconciliations.
* Ensure clear product naming conventions and customer-friendly billing practices.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience in Revenue Assurance over an extended period (preferably in telecommunications or financial services).
* Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing diverse teams.
* Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualisation tools is a plus.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* In-depth knowledge of revenue assurance processes, controls, and best practices.
* Familiarity with telecom billing systems and industry regulations is highly desirable.
* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
