The role:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Supply Chain Network Manager to lead the design, optimization, and expansion of our logistics operations at Kendal Nutricare. This role is central to ensuring that our rapidly growing supply chain remains resilient, cost-effective, and capable of supporting the business as we scale into new markets and channels. The successful candidate will be adept at balancing optimal day-to-day operational design with long-term strategic planning to sustain growth without compromising service quality.
What you’ll be doing:
Network Strategy & Expansion
* Develop and implement logistics network strategies that can scale with rapid business growth.
* Continuously assess network capacity, identifying where expansion, reconfiguration, or investment might be needed.
* Design flexible logistics models that can adapt to increasing volumes, diverse product ranges, and new geographic markets.
Operations Management
* Oversee and optimize daily logistics operations across transport, warehousing, and distribution.
* Implement scalable systems and processes to ensure reliable delivery performance even as volumes expand.
* Establish and monitor KPIs that reflect both current efficiency and readiness for growth.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
* Build strong partnerships with carriers, 3PLs, and suppliers that can scale with demand.
* Negotiate agreements to ensure competitive pricing, service reliability, and capacity commitments.
* Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and customer service teams to align logistics with expanding business needs.
Compliance, Risk & Resilience
* Ensure full compliance with regulations while scaling operations across multiple jurisdictions.
* Anticipate risks linked to rapid expansion (capacity shortages, international trade complexity, etc.) and put robust contingency plans in place.
* Drive resilience by diversifying logistics options and leveraging technology for visibility and control.
What you will need:
* 5+ years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution management, with proven ability to scale networks during periods of growth.
* Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and international logistics.
* Experience with ERP, WMS, and logistics network design/optimization tools.
* Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
