Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Entering and processing large volumes of data and invoices
* Reviewing the accounts payable inbox and supporting invoice management
* Processing warranty transactions and updating the finance system
* Assisting with general reporting, depending on the time of month and year
* Supporting payment runs (with the opportunity to learn and take on more)
* Involvement in accounts receivable and credit control, including chasing payments
* Providing general support to the finance team and helping out where needed
What you will need:
* Either a relevant degree or around a year’s experience in a similar finance or accounts role (Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator, Accounts Clerk, or similar)
* AAT Level 2 (or working towards it) – but we’re open to those with the right attitude and some finance experience
* Willingness to get stuck in, learn new things, and support the team
* Comfortable with Excel (no need for advanced formulas)
* A proactive, can-do approach and a genuine interest in developing your finance career
* Previous experience in a finance support role (such as Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator, or Purchase Ledger Clerk) is desirable but not essential
* Experience with Navision or similar finance systems is a bonus
