What you'll do:
* Build repeat business relationships and open new accounts in your territory, serving diverse industries.
* Achieve sales and profit goals by developing and retaining customers and opening new business.
* Conduct sales activities, develop relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products/services.
* Prepare quotations, follow up, negotiate, and close transactions.
* Organize and conduct customer training sessions.
* Survey market and competitive conditions.
* Complete reports on sales activities, expenses, leads, etc.
* Monitor customer complaints, follow up on orders, and handle emergency calls and deliveries as needed.
Qualifications:
* 1+ year outside sales experience OR 1+ year power transmission or hydraulic background with sales mentality OR 2+ years customer service/inside sales with tangible product experience OR recent graduate with sales drive.
* Ability to develop new business and build repeat customer relationships.
* Mechanical aptitude, self-starter, strong desire to succeed, with a sense of humor.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar.
* Proficiency with computers, including Excel.
* Experience in power transmission, hydraulics, or bearings preferred.
* High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
In accordance with wage transparency laws, the estimated total compensation is $75,000-$85,000 yearly, including base salary ($50,000-$55,000), uncapped commission, and bonus potential. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits like medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, and more.
