Location: Woodbridge, Suffolk
Salary: £15 per hour
Hours: Mixed shifts (Weekdays/Weekends)
Contract: Permanent

Essential Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Chef, ideally in healthcare or hospitality.
*
Strong cooking skills with knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements.
*
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certification (or willingness to work towards Level 3).
*
NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Preparation/Catering.
*
First Aid Certification.
*
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
The Role
As a Chef, you will plan and prepare nutritious meals for residents, ensuring all dishes meet dietary needs, taste great, and stay within budget. You will manage kitchen operations, supervise staff, and maintain the highest health and safety standards.
Key duties include:

Creating daily menus tailored to residents’ preferences and nutritional needs.

Preparing meals to high standards while controlling costs.

Managing food stock levels and supplier orders.
*
Training and supervising kitchen staff.
*
Maintaining food hygiene, safety, and environmental standards.
