Job Description
Scientist – Payload Screening // Nanoparticle Drug Delivery // Gene Therapies // Cambridge
You have experience designing drug payloads, screening cascades and developing assays for multiple (ideally gene therapy) modalties.
Why have you developed this expertise? Was it to discover the next generation of therapeutics for rare disease patients suffering from unmet need?
We are working with a Cambridge-based start-up (which has announced a large financial raise & partnerships with big pharma) developing polymer nanoparticles for gene therapy drug delivery. They are looking for a Scientist to lead lab-based screening and assay development for multiple gene therapy modalities.
Their nanoparticles have a proven capability to penetrate difficult biological barriers, target specific cell-types and release genetic payloads intracellular. Their proprietary technology has demonstrated exceptionally low immunogenicity and has the potential to revolutionise gene therapy for patients. Your work will be vital in deciding which gene therapies get delivered to the most difficult to reach targets.
You will have real ownership over your research and opportunities for growth, development, and progression.
If you have experience developing and executing lab-based assay development and high-throughput screening for gene therapies and are looking for an opportunity to revolutionise drug delivery while undertaking serious personal & scientific development, apply online here or reach out to isaac@singulartalent.io
We look forward to hearing from you!
