Responsibilities
* Lead, develop, and mentor the sales team across outbound sales, account nurturing, key accounts, field sales, and partnerships.
* Support and execute the sales strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and growth objectives.
* Set and monitor KPIs for each sales function, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
* Develop performance plans for underperforming team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Ensure that all sales teams follow best practices and maintain the CRM system (HubSpot) to a high standard.
* Monitor team performance against targets, providing ongoing coaching to improve conversion rates, engagement, and revenue.
* Optimise and refine sales processes, ensuring efficient lead qualification, pipeline management, and opportunity closing.
* Work closely with the CRM and marketing teams to ensure seamless lead handovers and visibility into the sales pipeline.
* Develop and manage relationships with key clients, ensuring retention and expansion of strategic accounts.
* Lead the sales team in delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs, focusing on long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
* Collaborate with account managers and field reps to optimise client experience and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
* Work with the service delivery team to ensure smooth onboarding and project delivery for new clients.
* Maintain accurate sales forecasting and reporting on KPIs, sales performance, and pipeline health.
* Present regular sales updates to senior leadership, including insights into client needs, market trends, and areas for improvement.
* Provide strategic input into the commercial roadmap based on market trends, sales feedback, and client insights.
* Collaborate with marketing, CRM, and service delivery teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of sales strategies.
* Provide feedback on marketing campaigns, client communication, and service offerings to ensure market fit and sales readiness.
* Work with senior leadership to ensure commercial alignment across business units and foster inter-departmental collaboration.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Proven experience in leading B2B sales teams in a multi-channel environment (outbound, key accounts, partnerships, field sales).
* Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
* Expertise in CRM systems (preferably HubSpot), sales reporting, and pipeline management.
* Highly developed leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
* Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and ability to drive growth through data and insights.
* Experience in service-driven or compliance-led sectors is desirable.
* Permission to work in the role's location by the start of employment.
