Main Purpose of this role:

To undertake basic work for the personal insolvency team, including statutory filings and supporting new work applications


Key Functions:

* Assisting the Personal Insolvency Team with the following:
* Preparation of statutory paperwork and other legal documents
* Drafting correspondence to creditors and other interested parties on request
* General support to management as required.
* Processing invoices for payment
* Carrying out income/expenditure assessments on cases
* Merging & sending standard letters
* Note taking in meetings
* Supporting new work applications – inputting data onto various systems
* Monitoring monthly contributions on cases and issuing standard letters as required
* Chasing required information and documentation by telephone


What we're looking for

We don’t expect you to have experience in insolvency – we’ll teach you everything you need to know!

* Interested in working in a professional services environment
* Curious, empathetic, and motivated to help individuals navigate challenging situations
* Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust
* Proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple tasks
* Strong time keeping skills and able to meet agreed deadlines and time scales
* High attention to detail, particularly when handling sensitive financial information
* Eager to learn and develop new skills
* Clear and confident communication, both written and verbal
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Resilient, calm under pressure, and able to handle sensitive conversations professionally
