This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small SEMH school supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) who require a nurturing and therapeutic learning environment. About the Role: We are seeking a committed professional who is passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people. Your responsibilities will include: Providing individual and group support to students both in and out of the classroom. Assisting teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across the curriculum. Offering care, encouragement and emotional support to help pupils thrive and succeed. Supporting targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy, and social development. Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals where appropriate. Working collaboratively as part of a strong, supportive team to improve outcomes for all learners. Our Ideal Candidate: Has a genuine passion for supporting students with SEND or SEMH needs. Brings at least two years of experience in a SEN, SEMH, or similar specialist education setting. Holds (or is working towards) a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – desirable but not essential. Demonstrates resilience, empathy, and a positive, proactive attitude. Enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to a caring school community.
