Hours:
This is a day role, Monday to Friday, supporting the customer and automation maintenance team at a new customer site in Aylesford, Kent. This role is suitable for a current shift leader, supervisor, or engineer seeking to advance into management. The candidate should be technically strong, quick to learn, and understand the customer's operational plans.
The Role
Responsibilities
The Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Customer Account Manager, liaise with the customer's operational and engineering teams, and be responsible for:
* Ensuring the automation system delivers the operational plan daily.
* Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance in line with the Computerised Maintenance System.
* Managing reactive tasks efficiently.
* Capturing all information on the Computerised Maintenance System, including spares, time, and fault data.
* Identifying future projects and improvements to enhance throughput, capacity, and reduce downtime.
* Developing standard reports and collaborating with the customer.
* Ensuring all shifts are adequately staffed.
* Developing the team to improve skills and competencies.
* Maintaining good housekeeping of all automated areas.
* Adhering to health and safety requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
* ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification.
* An electrical bias is preferred.
* Proven experience in engineering and maintenance.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Effective time management.
* Strong problem-solving abilities.
* Good customer relations skills.
* Ability to manage a team effectively.
