About The Role
Please note that this is a fixed-term role for six months, working full-time - 27.5 hours per week.
As anActivities Co-ordinatorat HC-One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences all aspects of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your role as anActivities Co-ordinatorincludes planning and implementing engaging activities for Residents, assisting the Home Manager with fundraising events, and encouraging socialization and participation based on Residents’ hobbies. You will work with the care team to foster a caring environment, always guided by kindness.
We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably with a background in developing activity programs. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, planning, organizational, and IT skills are essential. You should be considerate and kind in all communications.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. All staff are required to undergo safeguarding training and additional role-specific training, and to seek advice and report concerns as needed.
