You’ll collaborate with artists, producers, creative leads, and fellow developers to support workflows and push for technical innovation across our pipeline. The right person will be someone with great attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude. This position will initially be on a fixed-term contract for 3 months, with the potential to be extended based on project needs and performance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain tools that support artist workflows across 2D, 3D, motion graphics and compositing. Implement and manage our colour pipeline using OCIO across multiple software packages. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to artists and production teams. Work closely with creative leads to identify workflow bottlenecks and provide clear, scalable solutions. Maintain and optimise our existing pipeline to ensure smooth operation across all shows. Support client deliveries by meeting their technical specs and ensuring consistent quality. Collaborate with vendors and occasionally support client-facing conversations where required. Contribute to technical decision-making and help guide junior team members. Skills & Experience Solid experience in Python and familiarity with other relevant programming languages. Confident working with configuration files (YAML, JSON, XML) and creating custom tools for DCC applications. Experience with ShotGrid and ShotGrid Toolkit – including integration and customisation. Good understanding of colour science and OCIO, including colour workflows across Nuke, Houdini, After Effects, and similar tools. Previous experience in VFX pipelines, with a strong grasp of production processes and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented, proactive attitude. Strong communication skills - you’re comfortable explaining technical ideas to non-technical teammates.
