Test Engineer - Isle of Wight. A Test Engineer is required to join an engineering team based on the Isle of Wight. This role offers hands-on responsibility for hardware testing, verification, and compliance across complex electronic products.
Role overview
The Test Engineer on the Isle of Wight will:
* Plan and execute hardware test activities across the product lifecycle
* Develop and maintain structured test plans and procedures
* Perform functional, verification, and qualification testing
* Generate objective evidence to demonstrate compliance with technical requirements
Skills & Experience - Test Engineer, Isle of Wight
Essential
* HND / Foundation Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or similar)
* 3+ years\' experience in a product test or compliance environment
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies
* Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation
Desirable
* Experience with CE / UKCA marking
* Familiarity with MIL-STD or DEF-STAN standards
* Manufacturing or laboratory-based test experience
* Eligibility for UK Security Clearance
