We are currently looking to recruit a permanent full time experienced Maintenance Engineer to Work Monday to Friday 40 hours a week 10am-7pm in a full time permanent role at an annual salary of up to £38,000. Based within a prestigious landmark building in Central London near to Blackfriars Bridge, you will be joining a vibrant and friendly working environment within a business that inspires the growth and development of their dynamic team of employees. You will undertake all Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing and Fabric maintenance duties including handyman works and reactive attendances at the designated client site. Some of the responsibilities will include: To complete PPM works. Reactive response works and Statutory testing as delegated by the Helpdesk or line manager. To ensure all work is completed in the safest manner. To generate additional chargeable works where appropriate. To be the ideal candidate for this role you will have strong plumbing skills and experience. To be 17th or 18th edition qualified is preferred. You will also ensure all FM facts task instructions and records are completed and returned to the helpdesk/call Centre and all site logbook records are updated and maintained in accordance with company policy and statutory compliance. The work will routinely require working from steps, ladders and scaffold systems. It will also involve working with a wide range of hand tools and power tools safely and proficiently. The role requires a degree of physical fitness as manual handling is required. The role is predominantly single site based, however the company reserves the right to require flexibility in the role whereby the job holder may from time to time provide cover within the wider geographic area if necessary and where reasonable but according only to critical business needs.
