This role will play a critical part in maintaining momentum across our digital product portfolio, partnering closely with the Global Head of UX & Design and Senior UX Designer to deliver high‐quality, user‐centred experiences across our trading platforms.The successful candidate will take ownership of end‐to‐end design execution, contributing hands‐on design expertise while embedding seamlessly within cross‐functional product teams. You will work on complex, data‐rich products, balancing usability, performance, and commercial priorities within a fast‐paced financial services environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a strong mid‐weight or senior designer who is comfortable operating with autonomy, while aligning to established design systems, standards, and ways of working.**Role Responsibilities*** Partner closely with the Global Head of UX & Design & Senior UX Designer to translate strategic vision into compelling, user-centred product experiences across trading platforms* Lead end-to-end design delivery using Figma as the primary tool, including wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and scalable design system components* Help to manage the design system and UI component library in Figma, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and scalability across products* Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Development, and Business stakeholders to define problems, validate solutions, and deliver impactful outcomes* Champion user-centred design principles, incorporating user research, usability testing, and data insights into design decisions* Facilitate workshops, design critiques, and stakeholder reviews to align on solutions and drive consensus* Create and maintain clear design documentation and developer handoff using Figma (including specs, annotations, and interactive prototypes)* Work within agile product teams, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery* Identify opportunities to improve the overall user experience across digital channels and proactively propose innovative solutions* Ensure high-quality execution through design QA, validating that implemented solutions meet design standards before release**Experience & Competencies**Essential* Advanced proficiency in Figma (component libraries, auto layout, prototyping, design systems, and developer handoff) — this is a core requirement* Mid-weight/Senior level with prior experience of designing impeccable customer experience and design within the Finance and Fintech industries* Proven experience as a UX/Product Designer working on complex digital products (ideally within financial services or trading environments)* Experience working within and contributing to design systems at scale* Experience collaborating closely with developers and understanding front-end constraints* Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture* Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints* Confident communicator with experience in presenting and defending design decisions to senior stakeholders* Familiarity with agile methodologies and working within cross-functional product teams* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong attention to detailDesired* Experience working on data‐heavy, workflow‐driven, or B2B platforms, ideally within trading, market data, or analytics environments* Exposure to accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG) and inclusive design best practices* Experience contributing to or evolving enterprise‐level design systems, including governance and documentation* Comfort stepping into an existing product and design ecosystem, quickly building context and delivering impact with minimal ramp‐up* Experience partnering with Product Managers and Engineers to shape requirements from early discovery through delivery* Working knowledge of front‐end frameworks (e.g. React) and how design decisions translate into build* Experience supporting or participating in user research, usability testing, or design validation, even where formal research functions exist* A pragmatic, delivery‐focused mindset suited to a fixed‐term, business‐critical role, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing demands**Band & Level*** Manager / 7#LI-MID #LI-Hybrid**Company Statement**We know that the best innovation happens when diverse people with different perspectives and skills work together in an inclusive atmosphere.
