Supply Chain Manager – Catering Equipment Manufacturer – £70K + Benefits - North West / York / Huddersfield
My client is a reputable F&B business located in the North, known for service, product delivery, and quality.
They are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee their UK supply chain, including stock, inventory control, procurement, warehouse, and logistics.
This role offers a great opportunity for a talented Supply Chain Manager to join a company with genuine progression opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
* Delivering the pricing strategy for parts and maintaining pricing files monthly.
* Sourcing and managing the supply chain for all products.
* Managing stock, monitoring slow and obsolete stock, and ensuring adequate stock levels for efficient service.
* Managing van stock processes, including issuing starter stock, stock transfers, and returns.
* Collaborating with IT to produce monthly reports on stock availability and delivery.
* Documenting processes with standard operating procedures and process flows.
* Continuously improving team processes and implementing automation where possible.
The ideal candidate:
* Has a proven track record in purchasing, procurement, or logistics, preferably within FMCG.
* Willing to work strategically and hands-on.
* IT literate, experienced with ERP and service systems.
* Able to analyze data and influence decisions.
* IOSH qualified with health and safety experience.
* Possesses commercial acumen with data analysis skills.
* Has good communication and organizational skills.
