Role & Responsibilities
* Be responsible for ensuring spare parts for maintenance and servicing are in stock & payments made
* Manage an Engineering Purchaser, assist with sourcing suppliers & negotiate costs
* Inventory management – lead cycle counts, stock takes, manage the location of all engineering stock
* Make sure the stores area is organised, tidy and with clear instructions for engineers
* All PPM’s, parts & engineering spares are accounted for and controlled through CMMS
* Suggest improvements, report any issues of delay of stock
* Use CMMS to track KPIs, raise PO's, manage stock levels of slow moving items
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* At least 3 years experience in a similar stores management / senior inventory role
* Must have technical knowledge of engineering stores & parts management
* Ideally have worked in food manufacturing
* Strong IT skills – used CMMS systems & Excel (Expert)
* Effective communicator – working with various teams & departments
* Analytical individual – excellent attention to detail
* Process drive person
