Life on the team
An excellent fixed-term contract opportunity has arisen for a SAP FICO & S/4 Hana Consultant to become part of Computacenter, a large growing IT business based in Hatfield. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will work closely with Business Partners and the Group Finance function on the day-to-day activities related to SAP usage and exploitation.
What you’ll do
* Provide high level consultancy role within specialist area to peer group and internal customers
* Manage and implement projects relevant to Finance and other related specialist area
* Develop and motivate team to help ensure the delivery of function and business targets
* Assess situations, issues and opportunities and escalate when appropriate
* Acting as a point of escalation on complex issues and providing appropriate support to other team members
* Maintain confidentiality in all business-related matters
* Liaise with colleagues to ensure best practice and continual improvement in delivery of service to the business
* Establishes productive relationships and networks at Senior Management level to build and maintain relationships
* Responsible for the adoption of Computacenter best practice and service offerings to ensure consistency of service
* Makes decisions which impact on the success of assigned projects i.e. results, deadlines and budget
* Act in accordance with Computacenter Information Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other Security risks to the organisation
What you’ll need
* Strong understanding of finance business processes and accounting practices
* Strong SAP Finance skills: SAP FICO, S/4 HANA Finance preferably Multi-Tenant Edition
* Implementation and delivery experience, which should include at least 3 full project lifecycle of ECC & 1 full project lifecycle of S/4 HANA
* Proven experience in agile delivery methods, change management, test strategy and execution, cutover planning and execution
* Additional desirable skills: Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (COPA), FSCM and Banking Integration, OpenText (VIM), Project Systems (PS), Asset Accounting (AA), period end close (SAP FCC), financial reporting and consolidation, tax
* Integration experience with other SAP modules (SD, MM)
* Working experience on various inbound & outbound interfaces
