Join or sign in to apply for the Group Development Programme Associate - Part Time (27 Hours Per Week) role at Tesco. This part-time opportunity supports the end-to-end delivery of the school leaver programme (Stronger Starts Retail Apprenticeship) and our work with our charity partner The King’s Trust. You will lead volunteering opportunities, events and the colleague engagement plan, and support the roll out and management of the school leaver programme across the group, championing social mobility and diversity and inclusion.
The role relies on strong project management and building lasting relationships with our charity partners.
Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of the team’s development programmes, focusing on school leaver programmes and volunteering.
* Manage volunteering opportunities across the business by engaging with functions, participating in virtual and in-person volunteering to understand young people’s needs, and keep the volunteering database up to date.
* Write and deploy communications to colleagues and key stakeholders.
* Create and maintain project plans, reports, guides, briefing documents and provide volunteering updates to stakeholders.
* Project manage volunteering and award ceremony events with external providers.
* Manage and respond to queries through the shared Stronger Starts inbox.
* Work with the data team to ensure up-to-date information on programmes.
* Support the development of programmes, content and blueprints to a POE approach.
* Support moves from a UK-only to a group-wide school leaver programme offer.
* Build partnerships and close working relationships with young people partners.
* Support the wider team with events and additional admin duties at peak times (e.g. intern and graduate induction).

Experience relevant for this job:
* Helpful but not essential to have experience in People functions (e.g., Development Programmes and/or Learning / Capability).
* Experience with store-facing projects would be preferable.
