A Bit About The Job
You’ll be joining our market-leading Claims division, handling Public and Employers Liability claims with efficiency and empathy. Your role will involve investigating claims, making accurate liability decisions, and delivering excellent service to our customers, brokers, and solicitors. You’ll take ownership of your caseload, prioritising effectively to meet changing demands and ensure timely resolutions.
Location - Maxim Park, Motherwell
Responsibilities
• Investigate claims and make liability decisions with accuracy and empathy.
• Manage a caseload, prioritise effectively, and deliver timely resolutions.
• Communicate with customers, brokers, solicitors, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive Claims team to achieve common goals.
Qualifications
* Experience handling liability claims or working in a similar insurance environment is an asset, but not essential.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to analyse information and make sound decisions.
* Comfortable working independently and managing your own caseload.
* Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.
Flexible shift pattern between 7am-7pm, Monday to Friday.
We support smart working, so once you have successfully completed your training and are fully prepared, this role will transition to a hybrid model where you spend 50% of your time in the office and 50% working from home.
We offer flexible working hours with our standard 35-hour full-time contracts, and options for part-time working.

* Salary £25,100 to £28,500 depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
